Glen Powell and Joe Jonas<\/a> faked an arrest to prank his sister Leslie.<\/p>\n

Glen Powell couldn’t resist a ‘mean’ prank on his younger sister<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old actor has recalled how he and his Devotion castmate – who he worked with on the 2022 war movie – devised a plan to trick his singer songwriter sister Leslie Powell, 33, which resulted in her “searching in every jail in Georgia” to bail them out.<\/p>\n

He told PEOPLE magazine: “I did \u2026 a prank phone call on my sister [Leslie] with Joe Jonas<\/a> of getting arrested, and my sister literally was searching in every jail in Georgia for the two of us.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoe figured out a way to get \u2014 I think it was on like Google Translate \u2014 for it to sound like a jail was calling my sister for a collect call, and so \u2026 my sister accepted the call, and I basically just pretended like Joe and I hit somebody in a golf cart and that we needed to be bailed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd my sister took it very seriously. And then I ended the call, and then my sister searched every jail in Georgia looking for Joe Jonas<\/a> and me.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Twisters actor admitted his sister – who worked on the score for his 2024 blockbuster and 2023 rom-com Anyone But You – had such a “sweet” and dedicated reaction that he can’t bring himself to pull such an elaborate prank on her again.<\/p>\n

\nHe added: “It was very sweet of her. It showed the dedication that my sister has to me, but I’m not going to do a mean prank on her like that again because she’s too sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nHowever, he admitted Leslie still got her own back, although he didn’t reveal exactly how she managed it.<\/p>\n

\nHe teased: \u201cShe did get me back. She was salivating to return that favor, I remember.”<\/p>\n

\nThe two siblings also have an older sister Lauren Powell, 39, but it’s not clear if Glen would dare prank her in the same way.<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, the Hollywood star has been full of praise for Leslie’s musical talents, and back in 2014 he was already predicting big things in her future.<\/p>\n

\nHe told Nylon magazine: “My little sister Leslie Powell is a singer-songwriter in Nashville and, no doubt, my favourite artist of all.<\/p>\n

\n“Nothing puts me in a better mood than her music. Remember the name. She\u2019s a star.”<\/p>\n
