And this is one for the ages.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent TikTok, Bethenny suggested that Nancy may have been abducted by a rival journalist who is jealous of Savannah\u2019s success. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan you guys share with me your theories in the horrific Nancy Guthrie kidnapping?\u201d Frankel asked her followers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey say that the ransom note was written by someone extremely articulate, who has connections to TV stations in Arizona,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd Savannah, years ago, worked at TV stations in Arizona. They said that if the ransom were given, [Nancy] would be returned within a matter of hours to Tucson.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>All of this led Bethenny to the conclusion that Nancy might have been abducted by a former colleague of Savannah\u2019s who has been seething with envy for years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo is it some competitive journalist that Savannah won, got the gig, broke out, and made all the big bucks, and that person has resentment and wants to get their payday that they deserve?\u201d Frankel asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have not heard anything like that, and why does that type of thing sound logical to me?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a bit of a far-fetched premise, but several of Bethenny\u2019s followers believe she\u2019s onto something.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think you\u2019re wrong. Hopefully FBI is investigating all that type of stuff. The poor woman,\u201d a third chimed in.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators have used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/02\/nancy-guthrie-police-use-clothing-cues-to-zero-in-on-suspect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clues from the suspect\u2019s clothing<\/a> to try and track him down, and video taken the same night shows a man with a similar backpack attempting to gain access to the backyard of a different home.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s the same man, then Bethenny\u2019s \u201crival journalist\u201d theory grows even more implausible, and the abduction of Nancy was probably random.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/02\/nancy-guthries-final-ransom-deadline-passes-what-happens-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ransom notes have been sent<\/a>, but police and the Guthrie family have been unable to determine if the author of the notes actually knows Nancy\u2019s whereabouts.<\/p>\n<p>Police are desperate for leads, and just about any explanation is possible at this point \u2014 but Bethenny\u2019s take doesn\u2019t seem especially likely.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/02\/bethenny-frankel-believes-savannah-guthries-mom-may-have-been-kidnapped-by-rival-journalist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading Time: 3 minutes It\u2019s been nearly two weeks since Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home in Tucson.
