I am embarrassed for the NFL and Apple for the Super Bowl halftime show totally in Spanish with a Cuban flag!!\u201d<\/p>\n She also oddly added a photo of Russell Crowe<\/strong><\/a> in The Gladiator<\/em>, but added an image of her face over the actor\u2019s head.<\/p>\n After facing a lot of backlash, with many calling her comments racist, Taylor<\/strong> issued an apology on Wednesday night (February 11).<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI want to address my earlier Instagram post about the Super Bowl halftime show,\u201d Taylor<\/strong> began on her Instagram Story<\/a>. \u201cMy post did not fully reflect my heart or my respect for the artist and culture as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Super Bowl is such a huge American tradition, and while I personally didn\u2019t connect with the creative direction of this year\u2019s halftime show, that doesn\u2019t take away from the fact that Bad Bunny IS an American and that the Spanish language is a prominent aspect of American culture,\u201d she continued. \u201cEvidently, my lack of awareness of the Latin culture led me to mistaken the flag as Cuban.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor<\/strong> wrote, \u201cI sincerely apologize and plan to learn from this in the future. America is special because people from every culture and background can come here, share their talent, and make their dreams come true.
