The Hunger Games actress has got engaged to Jack Buckley and admitted it was a “dream come true” to be tying the knot with actor, who she described as her “soulmate”.<\/p>\n
She wrote on Instagram: “It was always you<\/p>\n
“Even in those long, dark spaces of my youth<\/p>\n
“Where I learned to hold my own heart<\/p>\n
\n“You were always there<\/p>\n
\n“Breathing life into these tiny glimmers of a child\u2019s heart\u2026.Love\u2026..<\/p>\n
\n“Soulmate\u2026\u2026Marriage<\/p>\n
\n“You are a dream come true Jack (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nThe 41-year-old star revealed Jack had received the blessing of her two moms, her sister, and her and Ethan DeLorenzo’s nine-year-old son Ode before he popped the question.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “My soulmate asked me to marry him. First , he asked those who have protected and cared for my heart for so long. Both of my Moms , my Sister, my Son \u2026 and with every lifetime, every moment I have in front of me I said yes. @jacktbuckley I love you forever!!! (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nBack in 2022, the Pride and Prejudice actress came out as pansexual on social media and later admitted it “felt so nice” to speak openly.<\/p>\n
\nShe told The Hollywood Reporter at the time: \u201cIt felt so nice. I\u2019ve been thinking about it for a while. The sexual journey is so beautiful. I mean, all of the identity journeys are so cool. I feel like I\u2019m a little bit late to the game in being able to have less shame.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Saved star learnt to love her queer identity through having two moms and her queer sister and seeing \u201cthe whole spectrum\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nJena said: \u201cI have a really supportive family and they\u2019ve been that way for whatever, however or whoever I am or what I bring to the table. “It\u2019s all exciting and wonderful and perfectly great.”<\/p>\n
\nJena continued: \u201cBut yeah, my sister is queer and I grew up with two moms who were lovers and then they split. <\/p>\n
\n“My mom sort of became hetero again, mostly through an understanding of Christianity. And then my god mom married her partner of 17 years now. So, I have three moms and my dad who has been a hetero man all his life. I have the whole spectrum. It\u2019s nice to be able to have these different types of conversations with everyone. I feel really blessed to have an accepting family.\u201d<\/p>\n
