Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold<\/strong> has a touchdown-worthy love story with his fianc\u00e9e, Katie Hoofnagle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmidst the chaos of our everyday lives, every day spent with you is filled with an abundance of peace, laughter, presence, joy and love,\u201d Hoofnagle wrote via Instagram<\/a> in June 2025, celebrating Darnold\u2019s birthday. \u201cHere\u2019s to another trip around the sun sharing good meals, good music, and good company.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cHappy 28th birthday to my better half, I love you more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoofnagle started dating Darnold<\/a> in 2023, when he played for the San Francisco 49ers. She has since been the quarterback\u2019s No. 1 cheerleader throughout his respective tenures with the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks in 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n

Darnold and the Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams 31-21 in the NFC Championship, securing a spot in the 2026 Super Bowl. At the end of the game, Hoofnagle raced onto the field to celebrate<\/a> with her man.<\/p>\n

\u201cBaby, how about that?\u201d Darnold said in footage<\/a> shared by the NFL. \u201c[I] love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoofnagle quickly replied that she \u201cloves [him] more\u201d before the duo shared a sweet kiss. She added, \u201cWe\u2019re going to the Super Bowl!\u201d<\/p>\n
