A 24-year-old Wisconsin woman has been located five days after she went missing and was heard pleading for her life on a final phone call to her family. <\/p>\n
On Monday (February 9), the Marinette Police Department confirmed in an updated news release<\/a> that Gabriella Cartagena<\/strong> had been \u201clocated.\u201d <\/p>\n The original release stated that Cartagena was reported missing on Thursday (February 5) after last being seen the day prior. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe Marinette Police Department, along with other local authorities, initiated an extensive search to locate Gabriella Cartagena. The investigation led to the belief that Gabriella was in the area of Red Arrow Park in the City of Marinette immediately prior to her disappearance,\u201d the statement read. <\/p>\n Additionally, the release stated, \u201cThere is currently a person of interest in custody, and the name of that individual is being withheld at this time.<\/p>\n The updated release stated that \u201cMore information will be released as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n However, authorities have not yet provided any further information, including confirming if Cartagena <\/strong>had been found dead or alive. <\/p>\n On Friday (February 6), the Marinette Police Department shared a missing person alert on Facebook<\/a>, identifying Cartagena <\/strong>as someone who was \u201cconsidered as involuntarily missing.\u201d<\/p>\n According to reporting by WBAY, Cartagena<\/strong>\u2018s family said that she was last seen with a man they identified as Robert Chilcote<\/strong>. They said that the pair \u201cappeared normal\u201d and were headed to the grocery store on Wednesday. <\/p>\n However, family said that they received a final call from Cartagena<\/strong>, in which she was heard pleading, \u201cPlease don\u2019t shoot me. I\u2019m sorry.\u201d <\/p>\n
