Grammy Award-winning singer Coco Jones<\/strong> <\/a>was ecstatic to be asked to sing \u201cLift Every Voice and Sing\u201d at the 2026 Super Bowl<\/a> \u2014 and her biggest fan was there to cheer her on.<\/p>\n

Seven-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell<\/strong> was on-hand at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara to support his fianc\u00e9e as she sang the Black national anthem<\/a> before the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots squared off in the NFL\u2019s championship game on February 8, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Cavaliers star has been one of Jones\u2019 most vocal supporters since they began dating in 2023, and Jones made it clear in the days leading up to the Super Bowl that the opportunity would be a career highlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the bee\u2019s knees,\u201d she said in a press conference the Thursday before the game. \u201cI just think this is one of the most highly viewed events of all time. It\u2019s hard to compete.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCharlie Puth has the honor of singing \u201cThe Star-Spangled Banner\u201d at Super Bowl LX. \u201cIt\u2019s a very musically difficult song to sing,\u201d Puth said during a February 2026 press conference ahead of the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. \u201cYou\u2019re hitting five more notes about the octave, and that\u2019s incredibly difficult. I think it\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She added, jokingly, \u201cMaybe my wedding will be up there. Maybe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones began dating in 2023, and despite trying to keep their relationship private, fans of both were able to connect the dots. Jones joked about the online sleuthing during a February 2025 appearance on Shannon Sharpe<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cClub Shay Shay<\/a>\u201d podcast, applauding fans for their hard work.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the internet because they definitely clocked my tea. I love that. Little spies everywhere. I feel like I\u2019m in a detective movie,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Mitchell spent extensive time with Jones while she was on her 2025 \u201cWhy Not Me?\u201d tour, and gushed to reporters at Cavaliers media day that September about his fianc\u00e9e\u2019s work ethic.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s amazing. She\u2019s an amazing human being. She brings me peace,\u201d he said. \u201cGetting to spend time with her on tour was something that was very unique \u2019cause you realize that she travels and works just as hard as we do. On the tour bus, up late nights.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cShe\u2019s a special human. And you see it in her work, and to be able to call her my fianc\u00e9e, my wife, is a blessing. So, I\u2019m grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donovan Mitchell Played College Basketball at Louisville<\/h2>\n

Basketball fans first got to know Mitchell, affectionately known as \u201cSpidah,\u201d in his college days, playing for Hall of Fame head coach Rick Pitino<\/strong> and the Louisville Cardinals. Though he came off the bench as a freshman, Mitchell\u2019s game took a leap in his sophomore year, when he averaged 15.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n

His breakout season led to the NBA Draft, where the Utah Jazz ultimately took him with the 13th overall pick.<\/p>\n
