Singer Billie Eilish<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is an undeniable force in the music industry. The \u201cBad Guy\u201d artist<\/a> rose to stardom in her late teens and her fans love listening to every one of her epic ballads. Billie has spoken out about self-confidence, which may be why chooses to keep her personal life private. However, she once uploaded a few bikini<\/a> and swimsuit<\/a> moments via Instagram<\/a> during a Hawaiian vacation in 2020.<\/p>\n \u201cBeen gone,\u201d she captioned the post in January of that year. Some of the images featured different areas in Kaua\u2019i, whereas a few others included swimming moments between the \u201cOcean Eyes\u201d crooner and her pals. She also included a video of herself wearing a black top standing under a shower head.<\/p>\n While Billie seemed to enjoy her picturesque vacay at the time, she later opened up to\u00a0Dazed<\/em><\/a>\u00a0magazine in April 2020 about the harsh criticism she faced for her post.<\/p>\n \u201cI saw comments like, \u2018How dare she talk about not wanting to be sexualized and wear this?!\u2019\u201d Billie recalled, referring to the online scrutiny she received for that Instagram posts\u2019 bikini snapshots. \u201cIt was trending. There were comments like, \u2018I don\u2019t like her anymore because as soon as she turns 18, she\u2019s a whore.\u2019 Like dude, I can\u2019t win. I cannot win.\u201d<\/p>\n The Los Angeles native also revealed a time when she felt uncomfortable in her own body.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a point last year where I was naked and didn\u2019t recognize my body \u2018cause I hadn\u2019t seen it in a while,\u201d she added. \u201cI would see it sometimes and be like, \u2018Whose body is that?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n In a separate interview with\u00a0Elle<\/em><\/a>, the \u201cTherefore I Am\u201d artist<\/a> admitted how online bullying affected her in her early teenage years. She also noted that she opted for baggy clothes in her singing career \u201cbecause of [her] body.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf that had happened three years ago, when I was in the midst of my horrible body relationship \u2014 or dancing a ton, five years ago, I wasn\u2019t really eating,\u201d Billie said in January 2021, referring to the public criticism she received. \u201cI was, like, starving myself \u2026 I remember taking a pill that told me that it would make me lose weight and it only made me pee the bed \u2014 when I was 12. It\u2019s just crazy. I can\u2019t even believe.\u201d<\/p>\n She concluded by mentioning she \u201cthought that [she] would be the only one dealing with [her] hatred for [her] body,\u201d but added, \u201cI guess the internet also hates my body. So that\u2019s great \u2026 The internet hates women.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the body-shaming, Billie<\/a> encourages self-love and her fans applauded her for sharing those vacation photos at the time by commenting on her post.<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t listen to the idiots,\u201d one fan commented on her 2020 Instagram post. \u201cThey are not real fans if they body-shame anyone!\u201d<\/p>\n Countless others also weighed in, with one adding, \u201cYou are a beautiful and talented young lady.
