\t\t<\/p>\n The 2026 Super Bowl<\/strong><\/a><\/em> is taking this place this weekend and lots of attendees are wondering if ICE<\/strong><\/a> agents will be present at the big event.<\/p>\n In recent months, agents for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have upped their presence around the country, and people have been protesting the presence in their communities by boycotting companies for supporting ICE and calling for defunding of the program amid the ICE-related deaths of at least eight people in 2026 alone<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ahead of the big event on Sunday (February 8), the NFL chief security Cathy Lainer<\/strong> said in a press conference that the federal security presence at this year\u2019s game will be consistent with past Super Bowls<\/em>, noting that ICE officers will NOT<\/em><\/strong> be among the federal agencies present at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cThere are no planned ICE enforcement activities,\u201d Lainer<\/strong> said, per ESPN<\/a>. \u201cWe are confident of that.\u201d<\/p>\n Sources also told The Associated Press<\/a><\/em> that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official Jeff Brannigan<\/strong> hosted a series of private calls with local officials and the NFL, in which he indicated that ICE does not plan on conducting any law enforcement actions the walk of the Super Bowl<\/em>, or at the game.<\/p>\n While ICE is currently not expected to be at the Super Bowl<\/em>, many are worried that Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> and the DHS may change their mind ahead of the game.<\/p>\n Back in October, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem<\/strong><\/a> said that ICE \u201cwill be all over\u201d the Super Bowl<\/a> while also slamming Halftime Show headliner Bad Bunny<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t see, the 31-year-old Puerto Rican superstar gave a powerful anti-ICE speech<\/a> when he accepted the Album of the Year award at the 2026 Grammys<\/em> last weekend.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
