Instagram<\/a> page to share a very personal post.<\/p>\n\u201cAs people, all we really want is to feel connected to each other and never feel alone,\u201d her caption began.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor those of you in your family that have said to help you is to isolate you,\u201d Britney wrote, \u201cand make you feel unbelievably left out \u2026 they were wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
It is clear that she is talking about her own harrowing years under a conservatorship. It is also clear that she knows that she is not the only person to have suffered under a family\u2019s control.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe can forgive as people,\u201d Britney expressed, \u201cbut u don\u2019t ever forget.\u201d<\/p>\nTaking to her Instagram caption, Britney Spears admitted to feeling lucky to be alive and afraid of her family. \u201cI\u2019m incredibly lucky to even be alive,\u201d she acknowledged.<\/p>\n
Britney continued: \u201cWith how my family treated me once in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
She then revealed: \u201cAnd now I\u2019m scared of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Considering the extent to which many believe that at least some of her relatives want to get her back under their financial control, that sounds very sensible.<\/p>\nIn a 2016 interview, Britney Spears delved into her childhood and cultural background. \u201cMy friends, what do you think he is saying today ???\u201d she asked, presumably probing her Christian fans for input.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause to be totally honest with you,\u201d Britney confessed, \u201cno matter what he says, they will never take responsibility for what they did.\u201d<\/p>\n
On a brighter note, she continued: \u201cSo I\u2019ve made cheesecake today and I must say it\u2019s pretty damn good.\u201d<\/p>\n
Britney added: \u201cMy neighbor joined me with milk !!!\u201d<\/p>\n
At the end of her caption, Britney wrote: \u201cPS I haven\u2019t danced in a month because I broke my toe twice!\u201d<\/p>\n

In December, we reported on Britney\u2019s injury<\/a>.<\/p>\nWhile there are certainly some very loud people who seem to become enraged when she dances (or try to frame it as something that should see her stripped of her human rights), we hope that she heals up quickly.<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s good to hear that she had a neighbor who could bring over some milk. It\u2019s just that most people don\u2019t have such a public spectacle surrounding their fight for freedom. <\/p>\n
(Also, countless people remain under their family\u2019s thumb \u2014 and not ever awful parent needs a conservatorship to do it)<\/p>\n
It\u2019s very clear that Britney knows that she\u2019s not alone in still feeling shaken by her years without core human rights.<\/p>\n
Right now, it sounds like she\u2019s aware of the push to use her every word and action to turn public consensus away from her rights. Hopefully, no one will fall for it.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
