Kathy Griffin<\/a> gave fans an inside glimpse\u2026 of her vocal cords!<\/p>\n On Wednesday, June 7, the comedian shared graphic details about her recent vocal cord surgery. The video<\/a>, which was posted to TikTok and Instagram, was prefaced with a trigger warning before showing medical footage of the inside of Griffin\u2019s esophagus.<\/p>\n \u201cI so appreciate you guys following along on my journey to get my voice back<\/a> after #lungcancer !!! Thank you so much to Dr.Barbu!!!\u201d she wrote alongside the clip, referencing her two-year medical battle.<\/p>\n In response, fans flooded to the comments section to wish Griffin luck in her recovery before she begins to perform again.<\/p>\n \u201cLong-time fan here. I wish I could make it to your Vegas show. I know you\u2019re going to rock it<\/a>! You really do sound a lot better. Baby steps!\u201d one person penned, while another said, \u201cWishing you a speedy and full recovery!\u201d<\/p>\n A third complimented the 62-year-old by saying, \u201cThat jacket tho\u2026 BEST OF LUCK on your surgery!!! Get better quick<\/a>!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOnly the best for you, Kathy! Been a fan since I was 15, and am 31 now,\u201d said a fourth. \u201cYou\u2019re such an inspiration \ud83d\udc96.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTake care! Break a leg!
