The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em><\/a> is coming to an end.<\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> announced on Monday, February 2, that her Daytime Emmy-winning talk show<\/a> will conclude after its seventh season, which is currently airing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS<\/em>, both in Los Angeles and New York. There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner,\u201d Clarkson, 43, wrote via Instagram.<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cBecause of all of that, this was not an easy decision \u2014 but this season will be my last hosting TKCS<\/em>. Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em> premiered in September 2019. The host taped the first four seasons of the nationally syndicated series in Los Angeles before moving to New York City<\/a> in October 2023.<\/p>\n

Clarkson opened most episodes of her talk show with her beloved \u201cKellyoke\u201d segment, which saw the American Idol<\/em> alum cover songs by artists including Celine Dion<\/strong>, The Weeknd<\/strong>, Whitney Houston<\/strong> and Billie Eilish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em>\u2018s run, Clarkson also hosted a primetime series, Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson<\/em>, which debuted on NBC last summer and featured conversations and acoustic duets with the Jonas Brothers, Gloria Estefan<\/strong>, Teddy Swims<\/strong> and Lizzo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Clarkson\u2019s future on TV has been in question since the death of her ex-husband<\/a>, Brandon Blockstock<\/strong>, in August 2025. \u201cKelly is a great mom and has needed to be there for her kids,\u201d a source told Us Weekly<\/em> at the time, adding that \u201conly a few people in Kelly\u2019s circle\u201d and \u201ca handful of her show\u2019s team\u201d knew about Blackstock\u2019s health issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n
