I haven\u2019t watched enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jelly Roll explains silence on politics after Grammy win\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W0uZC1kHP7Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>According to DeFord, he isn\u2019t very political and has been sort of detatched from politics.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t a recent development. Sure, some of them are lying (famously, conservative men claiming to be moderates on dating apps so that they can get laid), but most sincerely believe it when they say it.<\/p>\n<p>That doesn\u2019t make it true. What it actually means is that these individuals feel insulated \u2014 normally by money \u2014 from life-or-death political realities.<\/p>\n<p>Will DeFord used his speech and platform to speak about his beliefs as a Christian and to invite others to worship his God with him. So he felt prepared to say that much, but not to address our current horrors.<\/p>\n<p>When he does speak up, will he have good things to say?<\/p>\n<p>That would be nice. Many people are speaking to condemn Trump\u2019s forces. But we don\u2019t know.
