Ducks fly together! The original Mighty Ducks<\/em><\/a> film quacked its way into movie lover\u2019s hearts in 1992 and nearly three decades later, it still has a dedicated fanbase.<\/p>\n The Mighty Ducks<\/em>, which starred Emilio Estevez<\/strong><\/a> as Coach Gordon Bombay, made hockey cool nationwide \u2014 and inspired some fans to quack in class when they didn\u2019t get their way. After Gordon gets into legal trouble, he is ordered to coach a peewee hockey team \u2014 the Ducks \u2014 in a league against his former childhood team<\/a>, the Hawks.<\/p>\n With the help of Minnesota hockey hopeful Charlie Conway<\/a> (Joshua Jackson<\/strong><\/a>), Gordon rounds up a motley crew to play on his team. Throughout the film, the players \u2014 including Goldberg (Shaun Weiss<\/strong><\/a>), who is a goalie that can\u2019t stop falling down, ringer Fulton Reed (Elden Henson<\/strong><\/a>) and former Hawks player Adam Banks (Vincent LaRusso<\/strong>) \u2014 bond under the support and guidance of coach Bombay.<\/p>\n The \u201890s film\u2019s success<\/a> led to two sequels, D2: The Mighty Ducks<\/em><\/a> and D3: The Mighty Ducks<\/em>. In the second movie, the Ducks represent Team USA in the Junior Goodwill Games and add a few new players, including Portman (Aaron Lohr<\/strong>), who helps make up the Bash Brothers with Fulton.<\/p>\n The third film, which hit theaters in 1996, followed the teammates as they went off to prep school and tried to one-up the varsity team. Over the years, the cast of the trilogy has shown its staying power during fan events and by sparking excitement whenever they reunite in person<\/a>.<\/p>\n In 2014, the D2: Mighty Ducks<\/em> stars got together to celebrate its 20th anniversary and recreated the team\u2019s iconic \u201cFlying V\u201d formation<\/a> on a tennis court. The gang posted photos from the hangout<\/a>, including a snap of Marguerite Moreau<\/strong><\/a>, who played Connie in all three films, and Garrett Henson<\/strong><\/a>, who played her onscreen boyfriend, Guy Germaine.<\/p>\n Five years later, there was another Ducks reunion<\/a> that took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, home of the NHL team the Anaheim Ducks.
