Songwriters of the year\u2019s biggest hits were recognized in the Song of the Year category at the 2026 Grammy Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWildflower\u201d by Billie Eilish<\/strong><\/a> received the accolade<\/a> during the Sunday, February 1, awards show at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n Joined on stage by her brother and collaborator Finneas O\u2019Connell<\/strong>, who cowrote \u201cWildflower,\u201d Eilish, 24, used her speech to voice her support for those protesting ICE\u2019s actions across the country.<\/p>\n \u201cI honestly don\u2019t feel like I need to say anything, but no one is illegal on stolen land,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. I feel really hopeful in this room and like we just need to keep fighting, speaking up and protesting. Our voices really matter.\u201d<\/p>\n Lady Gaga\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cAbracadabra,\u201d Doechii\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cAnxiety,\u201d Ros\u00e9<\/strong> and Bruno Mars\u2019<\/strong> \u201cApt.,\u201d Bad Bunny\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cDtMF,\u201d Huntr\/x\u2019s \u201cGolden\u201d from KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>, Kendrick Lamar\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cLuther\u201d with SZA<\/strong> and Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cManchild\u201d rounded out the list of nominees<\/a> in the Song of the Year category.<\/p>\n \u201cAnxiety\u201d by Doechii, 27, received the most overall nominations of the songs in the category, with five. In addition to Song of the Year, \u201cAnxiety\u201d was in the running for Record of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Music Video.<\/p>\n \u201cManchild\u201d trailed closely behind with four total nods, including for Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video. Carpenter, 26, was also up for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cAbracadabra,\u201d \u201cApt.,\u201d \u201cGolden\u201d and \u201cLuther\u201d were all nominated for three Grammys each. The Gaga song received nods for Record of the Year and Best Dance Pop Recording, while the pop star, 39, landed additional nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem<\/em>, Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Harlequin<\/em> and Best Pop Solo Performance for \u201cDisease.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cApt.\u201d by Ros\u00e9, 28, and Mars, 40, vied for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance.<\/p>\n \u201cGolden\u201d \u2014 which is sung by Ejae<\/strong>, Audrey Nuna<\/strong> and Rei Ami<\/strong> \u2014 secured nods for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media, while the KPop Demon Hunters<\/em> soundtrack also competed for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.<\/p>\n \u201cLuther\u201d by Lamar, 38, and SZA, 36, received nominations for Record of the Year and Best Melodic Rap Performance. Lamar was also up for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for GNX<\/em>, Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance for \u201c30 for 30\u201d with SZA, Best Rap Performance for \u201cChains and Whips\u201d with Clipse and Pharrell Williams<\/strong> and \u201cTV Off\u201d with Lefty Gunplay<\/strong> and Best Rap Song for \u201cTV Off.\u201d Beyond her nods with Lamar, SZA was also in the running for Best Traditional R&B Performance for \u201cCrybaby.\u201d<\/p>\n
