Michael Buble has paid tribute to Catherine O’Hara<\/p>\n
The acclaimed actress – who was born in Toronto, Canada – has died aged 71, and Michael has taken to social media to pay a glowing tribute to the film star.<\/p>\n
Alongside a photo of Catherine, Michael wrote on Instagram: “Heartbroken doesn\u2019t even begin to cover it.<\/p>\n
“Catherine O\u2019Hara was one of a kind. A rare light in this world and her passing hits with a weight I can\u2019t fully put into words.<\/p>\n
“She wasn\u2019t just a legendary artist, actor and comedian. She was an ambassador for Canada in the truest sense: brilliant, fearless, deeply original, and so full of humanity. She made the world laugh, but she also made people feel seen.<\/p>\n
\n“As an artist, she inspired me more than she\u2019ll ever know. She set the bar for what it means to represent your country with excellence and grace and all without ever losing warmth or humility.<\/p>\n
\n“My heart is broken for her family, her loved ones, and everyone who adored her, both here in Canada and around the world.<\/p>\n
\n“If you\u2019re grieving this loss, you\u2019re not alone. We\u2019re all holding a piece of this sadness together.<\/p>\n
\n“Rest easy, Catherine. Thank you for everything. CA (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere, Michael Keaton – who starred alongside Catherine in the Beetlejuice film franchise – has also taken to social media to pay tribute to the actress.<\/p>\n
\nThe 74-year-old actor – who plays Beetlejuice in the money-spinning movies – admitted that he’ll miss his former co-star.<\/p>\n
\nAlongside a throwback photo of them together, Michael wrote: “We go back before the first Beetlejuice.<\/p>\n
\n“She\u2019s been my pretend wife, my pretend nemesis and my real life, true friend.<\/p>\n
\n“This one hurts. Man am I gonna miss her. Thinking about Beau as well. (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nJustin Theroux, who appeared in 2024\u2019s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, has also paid tribute to the actress.<\/p>\n
\nThe Hollywood star wrote on Instagram: “Oh Catherine. You will be so so missed (sic)”<\/p>\n
