Olivia Culpo<\/a> “knew” Christian McCaffrey would be a “really good dad”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Olivia Culpo has heaped praise on her husband<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old model and the 29-year-old NFL star welcomed their daughter Colette into the world in July, and Olivia admits that her husband has already proven to be a great dad.<\/p>\n
The brunette beauty told Us Weekly: “I always knew he would be a really good dad because he\u2019s a really good person. He has a really good example because his parents are great.”<\/p>\n
Olivia is convinced that Christian will always be a “good example and protector” for their daughter.<\/p>\n
She said: “He will be such a good example and protector to her. I know that she\u2019ll always be able to feel like she has someone who loves her more than anything. I feel like everybody deserves to feel that.”<\/p>\n
\nOlivia revealed, too, that she’s close with her own dad, Peter Culpo.<\/p>\n
\nThe model shared: “I\u2019m also so close with my dad, and I appreciate what a great father he is for me, and I really do feel like I\u2019m a daddy\u2019s girl.<\/p>\n
\n“I just feel like that\u2019s what they\u2019re going to be like, too. It\u2019s a really beautiful thing to see so early on. She loves her dad, and little girls really do. You see the way that they light up with their dad.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Olivia previously confessed to suffering a “little bit of an identity crisis” after giving birth.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on The Squeeze podcast, Olivia shared: “There’s totally a shift.<\/p>\n
\n“Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that’s physically dependent on you. So, I’m not going to sugarcoat it: Yeah, it’s scary.”<\/p>\n
\nOlivia has been career-focused for many years, and she worries how she’ll balance motherhood and her modelling career.<\/p>\n
\nOlivia – who married Christian in 2024 – said: “I’m just kind of a worry wart that way, like I’m very ambitious.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, the model admitted to relishing the challenges of motherhood.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “It’s been so fun.<\/p>\n
\n“Every day is so different and I’m really just trying to sit in because I know it goes by so fast. Everybody says these are the days that go by quicker than you could have ever imagined.”<\/p>\n
