Lizzy McAlpine<\/strong><\/a> just made her television acting debut!<\/p>\n The 26-year-old viral singer can be seen appearing in the new season of Paramount+ series School Spirits<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which just debuted TODAY (January 28). <\/p>\n She appears in a flashback scene in the third episode, \u201cThe Halls Have Eyes,\u201d and in a new interview, she reveals one of the stars of the show is a big reason why she was able to have a role!<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The singer is also no stranger to School Spirits<\/em>, as in season one, Lizzy<\/strong>\u2018s song \u201cdoomsday\u201d was featured in the finale, and her song \u201cThe Elevator\u201d was featured in season two. <\/p>\n \u201cI think Milo [Manheim]<\/strong><\/a> at one point was just like, \u2018Oh my God, you should be on season three,\u2019\u201d she told Teen Vogue<\/a><\/em>. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018If you really want to make that happen, you can try to make that happen. I would be down, but it seems a little far-fetched to me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think he just talked to the writers, the creators, and they were down with the idea, and then they wrote a scene for me,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n In the episode, Lizzy<\/strong> even pulls out her guitar and sings, though her live vocals aren\u2019t featured in the ep. <\/p>\n \u201cI did have to lip-sync to myself, which is basically like a music video. But in the scene, I was so nervous,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n Lizzy <\/strong>is no stranger to acting, having made her Broadway debut in Floyd Collins <\/em>last year, and even performed with the cast<\/a> at the 2025 Tonys<\/em>!<\/p>\n She dished, \u201c[School Spirits<\/em>] was just a new experience. I kind of just say yes to things so that I can push myself out of my comfort zone. That\u2019s something I love to do, even if it\u2019s terrifying.\u201d<\/p>\n The first three episodes of School Spirits<\/em> are now streaming on Paramount+, with new episodes dropping weekly.
