Stefon Diggs<\/strong><\/a> and the New England Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl, and Cardi B<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t hiding her excitement over her boyfriend\u2019s success.<\/p>\n NFL Network interviewed Cardi, 33, on the field after New England took down the Denver Broncos, 10-7, at Mile High Stadium on Sunday, January 25. Though she spoke glowingly about how proud she is of Diggs, 32, some viewers weren\u2019t interested in what she had to say.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is cringe \ud83d\ude2c,\u201d wrote one fan in response to the video shared by NFL Network\u2019s Cameron Wolfe<\/strong> via X<\/a>. \u201cWhy is she in the spotlight like she\u2019s on the team or something doing interviews?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cWhy in the world is she getting on field interviews???\u201d another fan added.<\/p>\n Another fan quoted the post, asking why other players\u2019 significant others didn\u2019t get the same treatment.<\/p>\n \u201cWhy are yall interviewing her like she [is on] the team???\u201d they asked. \u201cWhich other players wife did yall interview???\u201d<\/p>\n Cardi, for her part, used the interview to explain the work that Diggs put in to even get back on the field after he suffered a torn ACL during the 2024 season.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m feeling very excited and very happy for him, very proud of him,\u201d she said. \u201cHe just came back from an ACL and me seeing the progress and the process.\u201d<\/p>\n Cardi added that Diggs\u2019 success was a product of \u201cdiscipline and work. It\u2019s not like, \u2018Oh, you wake up and you\u2019re great.\u2019 It\u2019s discipline. It\u2019s going to bed early, it\u2019s waking up early, it\u2019s not missing one day of work, nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n Cardi was a little more animated<\/a> in an Instagram<\/a> post shared by the Patriots after the game.<\/p>\n \u201cWe going to the Super Bowl! Let\u2019s Go!\u201d she yelled to the camera.<\/p>\n \u201cYEAHHHHH CARDI!!!!\u201d the team captioned the post.<\/p>\n
