Katie Price<\/a>‘s new mother-in-law is “happy” about her whirlwind marriage to Lee Andrews.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Katie Price has got married again<\/p>\n
The former glamour model, 47, announced her engagement to the businessman earlier this week – just months after she split from her former partner JJ Slater – and on Sunday (25.01.26) she confirmed the pair had married just days after she flew out to Dubai to meet him for the first time. <\/p>\n
And while the news is said to have come as a surprise to Katie’s family, Lee’s mum Trisha has confirmed she was aware they were getting hitched and she is simply happy that her son is happy, although she’s been left unimpressed by online gossip.<\/p>\n
Trisha told the Mirror: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of lies going around about Lee and that\u2019s made me really upset. He\u2019s not been married twice. I just want to defend my son, but I can\u2019t say much more until I know everything.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe did tell me that the wedding was happening. He spoke to me and if he is happy, I am happy – he\u2019s my son, and that\u2019s all that matters.”<\/p>\n
\nThe clairvoyant is aware of her daughter-in-law’s fame but insisted she never held any strong opinions about her.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cOf course, I know who Katie is. I\u2019ve always been very neutral about her. Everyone deserves a chance, you should never judge anyone in life.”<\/p>\n
\nShe jokingly added: \u201cYou can ask what it\u2019s like to have a famous daughter-in-law, but she\u2019s got a famous mother-in-law!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKatie revealed she and Lee had connected online before they met in person and had even got matching tattoos and wedding rings before they saw one another face-to-face.<\/p>\n
\nShe told The Sun newspaper: “How I met Lee was esoteric; we connected [by] both checking each others\u2019 socials and quickly realised: ‘Wow, this is for me’.<\/p>\n
\n“In the old-fashioned way, first by words which captured us both. That evolved deeper as we connected further within days [getting] matching tattoos, and then both deciding to buy rings for the other.<\/p>\n
\n“All this without even meeting, we let fate, but you could say destiny, decide.”<\/p>\n
\nShe went on to add: “I\u2019m just so happy with my person that is just as happy as I am. What we have, they haven\u2019t even invented the words. He has now the best version of me which can only grow more, knowing we are each others’.<\/p>\n
\n“On the wedding, all I can say is \u2018fatale\u2019, and this was a wedding at First Sight.”<\/p>\n
\nPictures taken on the couple’s big day show Katie wearing a long white dress with raunchy cut-outs as she stands with Lee saying her vows in an outdoor venue adorned with rose petals.<\/p>\n
\nShe later confirmed the marriage on Instagram, writing: “Happiest Mr and Mrs”.<\/p>\n
\nIt is Katie’s fourth trip down the aisle after previous marriages to Peter Andre – father of her children Junior and Princess, from 2005 until 2009, Alex Reid, between 2010 and 2012, and Kieran Hayler – dad to Bunny and Jett – from 2013 to 2021. Katie is also mother to eldest son Harvey from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n
\nLee is Katie’s fourth husband but the ninth man she has been engaged to.<\/p>\n
\nThe model-turned-TV star had five previous engagements which failed to end in a wedding with Katie previously being betrothed to Warren Furman, Scott Sullivan, Leandro Penna, Kris Boyson and Carl Woods.<\/p>\n
\nShe confirmed her engagement to Lee on Sunday by showing off her giant ring as she posed by a collection of red roses spelling out: ‘Will you marry me Katie?’<\/p>\n
\nKatie also showed off her partner’s hand, which has a fresh tattoo of her name inked on, and revealed that the pair were celebrating with Champagne, strawberries and chocolate cake. <\/p>\n
\nAfter the wedding, Katie went on to compare her story to Julia Roberts movie Pretty Woman by calling Lee her “real life Richard Gere”.<\/p>\n
