John Harbaugh<\/strong> is opening up about his relationship with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson<\/strong> now that the coach and the organization have parted ways.<\/p>\n \u201cPhenomenal relationship with Lamar,\u201d Harbaugh said on the Tuesday, January 20, episode of Evan & Tiki LIVE<\/em><\/a> on WFAN. \u201cEverything has been absolutely positive. Ask him, he\u2019ll tell you. We love each other. We tell each other we love each other. He\u2019s one of my favorite human beings.\u201d<\/p>\n Harbaugh \u2014 who was fired by the Ravens at the end of the 2025-2026 NFL regular season and subsequently hired by the New York Giants \u2014 was a guest on the show with hosts Evan Roberts, Tiki Barber <\/strong>and Shaun Morash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe revolutionized offensive football with Lamar Jackson,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cI don\u2019t know why that doesn\u2019t get written about more. So let\u2019s talk about that more.\u201d<\/p>\n The crew was broadcasting their show from Harbaugh\u2019s introductory press conference, after the Giants finalized the five-year deal.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m excited to be here,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cThese families are amazing. This place is different in a lot of great ways. It\u2019s one of a kind. It\u2019s iconic. It\u2019s the New York Giants. The New York football Giants. It was probably going to be them from the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n Harbaugh was terminated from his position<\/a> with the Ravens on January 6 after 18 seasons as head coach. This year, the Ravens missed the playoffs for the first time since 2021.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I was hoping for a different kind of message on my last day here, someday, but that day has come today. \ud83d\ude0aIt comes with disappointment certainly, but more with GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION,\u201d Harbaugh said in a statement released by the Ravens after the announcement.<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cGratitude to the owner and organization who was willing to bring in a head coach who made his mark with Special Teams success. A difficult thing to do \u2026 and Appreciation for all the moments, all these years, that are etched into eternity.\u201d<\/p>\n
