Tori Spelling<\/strong><\/a> has led tributes following the death<\/a> of celebrity hairstylist and former Blowing LA<\/em> reality star Kim V\u014d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so sorry, he was such an amazing human. Filled with such light and love,\u201d Spelling, 52, wrote to Kim\u2019s husband, Adeel Vo-Khan<\/strong>, via Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, January 24.<\/p>\n

Adeel previously shared the news that the stylist had \u201ctaken his final breath\u201d after originally being diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Kim] fought valiantly, winning many battles along the way and exceeding all medical expectations under the care of Dr. Lawrence Piro<\/strong> and his incredible team at Angeles Clinic and Cedars-Sinai,\u201d Adeel wrote. \u201cUltimately, God decided it was time for our angel on earth to return home.\u201d<\/p>\n

News that the celebrity hairstylist \u2013 who worked with Hollywood A-listers like Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez \u2014 unexpectedly died broke on Saturday, February 22. His passing was confirmed on Saturday, February 22 by Guerrero\u2019s sister Gris Guerrero, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Adeel continued, \u201cKim kindly requested in lieu of flowers & other tokens of condolences after his passing, to please channel your love & efforts towards donations for Kim V\u014d Foundation in support of hair, beauty, and fashion creatives also affected by cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Kim\u2019s representative for comment.<\/p>\n

A follow-up statement from Adeel touted the late stylist\u2019s work with major brands such as L\u2019Or\u00e9al and Schwarzkopf, which made him a \u201ctrue icon in the hair and beauty industry,\u201d his husband noted.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was beloved not only by his family and friends, but by the global hair community and millions of viewers who came to know him for both his artistry and his warmth,\u201d Adeel explained. \u201cKim had a rare ability to make everyone feel seen, welcomed, and at home. His guiding philosophy of \u2018approachable luxury\u2019 was central to everything he did. Beauty and glamour without pretense, barriers, or exclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the memorial post, one of Kim\u2019s \u201clast wishes\u201d was to \u201ccontinue helping others\u201d even after his cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

The statement read, \u201c[Kim] chose to focus on gratitude and purpose, \u2018I\u2019ve been incredibly lucky. I\u2019ve experienced love, happiness, and meaningful relationships on and off screen. I don\u2019t need anything more, but I do want to use the platform, knowledge, and success I\u2019ve worked so hard for to help others. Everything I\u2019ve been blessed with also belongs to the communities that have made me who I am. I want my life to be celebrated with joy, positivity, and now, health-first vigilance,\u2019 he said. \u2018That is the meaning of life. That is the meaning of my life.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Adeel promised to continue rallying support for the \u201chair, beauty, and fashion creatives fighting cancer\u201d on behalf of the Kim V\u014d Foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the legacy Kim and I are committed to building with your support,\u201d Adeel concluded. \u201cWe love you, we are here for you, and we will fight for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim was perhaps best known for judging the Bravo hairstyling competition Shear Genius<\/em> alongside model Camila Alves<\/strong><\/a> and fellow celebrity stylist Jonathan Antin<\/strong>. Shear Genius<\/em> aired on Bravo for three seasons between 2007 and 2010.<\/p>\n

Aside from his on-camera work for Shear Genius<\/em>, Kim worked behind the scenes of reality shows Extreme Makeover<\/em> and Plain Jane<\/em>. He had more recently appeared on Paramount+\u2019s celebrity hairstylist docuseries Blowing LA<\/em>, which followed him on the job at his trendy Kim Vo Salon in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Many of Kim\u2019s clients, friends and family paid tribute to his influential work via Instagram following the announcement of his death.<\/p>\n
