The pair were spotted partying together in St Barth\u2019s last month and have kept in touch since, although things have not gotten serious yet.<\/p>\n
A source told Us Weekly: \u201c[Alix] and Tom have still been texting since New Year\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Tom, 48, and Alix also \u201cbriefly\u201d met up at the College Football National Championship held in Miami last week.<\/p>\n
The insider said: \u201cThey knew each other would be at the game, but it wasn\u2019t a planned event together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAlthough Tom was working at the game, the pair managed to catch up \u201cat one point\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking about Alix, the source added: \u201cShe\u2019s having fun right now. She\u2019s into Tom but it\u2019s still nothing serious.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nInsiders previously shared that Alix \u2013 who is single following her recent split from Braxton Berrios \u2013 and Tom shared an \u201cinstant connection\u201d when they first met.<\/p>\n
\nA source told Us Weekly: \u201cAlix and Tom were together the entire night on New Year\u2019s Eve partying at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Barths. They met through mutual friends who were also in St. Barths and had an instant connection. There was a lot of chemistry between them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe source added that Tom was \u201chesitant\u201d about being seen together in public \u201cbut didn\u2019t want to leave her side\u201d, while \u201cAlix was really into hanging out\u201d with Tom but isn\u2019t looking for \u201canything serious\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nThe insider added: \u201cIt\u2019s nothing serious between her and Tom, but they were together laughing, dancing and partying, enjoying themselves.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAlix is in a phase of saying yes to fun experiences and not overthinking anything.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe\u2019s just having fun right now and letting loose. She has been in great spirits while on vacation and seems happy and ready to have fun again.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDespite being spotted several times with Alix, retired quarterback Tom – who has son Jack, 18, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, and children Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen – has claimed work and his family keep him too busy to have the time to date.<\/p>\n
\nHe told People magazine recently: “You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working and I love my kids.<\/p>\n
\n“I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing, so I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things.<\/p>\n
\n“And then obviously, my little babies at home. No, they’re not babies anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
