Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> is setting the record straight about her friendship with Jonathan Cheban<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Jonathan, better known as FoodGod, has been part of Kim\u2019s inner circle for decades, so when fans started speculating that the longtime friends had drifted apart, the Skims founder was quick to shut it down.<\/p>\n The Kardashians star, 45, addressed the rumors head-on while appearing on sister Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s podcast, \u201cKhlo\u00e9 In Wonder Land,<\/a>\u201d on Wednesday, January 21. During the candid conversation, Kim made it clear that despite what people might think, her friendship with Cheban, 51, is very much intact.<\/p>\n Reflecting on the early days of her career, Kim recalled how Jonathan was often right by her side \u2014 even helping her pose for paparazzi photos. \u201cI love Jonathan, we should call him,\u201d she told Khlo\u00e9 before pulling out her phone.<\/p>\n As the sisters FaceTimed Cheban, who answered from a dinner in Miami, Kim explained why fans may have assumed something was wrong. \u201cI think people think that we don\u2019t talk,\u201d she said. After ending the call, she doubled down: \u201cJonathan and I are good.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim went on to explain that life \u2014 not drama \u2014 is what changed their dynamic. \u201cHere\u2019s the thing, I had kids,\u201d she said. Kim shares daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 8, as well as sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6, with ex-husband Kanye West<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really hard to maintain friendships when you have kids and you\u2019re like in it,\u201d Kim explained. She also pointed out that their lifestyles couldn\u2019t be more different. \u201cJonathan is not going to come and sit around Calabasas all day. He\u2019s like always on the move.\u201d<\/p>\n Khlo\u00e9, 41, agreed, adding, \u201cEspecially when someone else doesn\u2019t have kids.\u201d She continued, \u201cIt\u2019s not like you can do play dates with your kids. I get that. We love Jonathan. There\u2019s so much history there.\u201d<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time Cheban has addressed the speculation. Nearly a year earlier, he shut down similar rumors during a March 2025 interview with Us Weekly, echoing Kim\u2019s explanation.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, she\u2019s got so many kids and so many things to do and I\u2019m all the way on [the east] coast, so it\u2019s like, yeah, we don\u2019t see each other as much,\u201d he said. \u201cBut we talk all the time and anything happens that I feel like we should discuss, we just send it right away.\u201d<\/p>\n Cheban laughed off the ongoing chatter, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s so funny to watch this stuff \u2019cause we are friends and we talk all the time.\u201d He made his stance crystal clear, saying they are \u201cabsolutely\u201d still close. \u201cWe\u2019re going to be friends forever \u2014 and it\u2019s fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
