The family of former Nickelodeon actor <\/span>Kianna Underwood <\/b>is grieving her sudden death following a tragic hit-and-run in Brooklyn. She was 33.<\/span><\/p>\n Underwood died early Friday morning, January 16, after being struck by multiple vehicles while crossing the street, according to the New York Police Department.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The incident occurred around 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard, where she was using a marked crosswalk.<\/span><\/p>\n In the days <\/span>following her death<\/span><\/a>, her father, <\/span>Anthony Underwood<\/b>, shared a deeply emotional reflection on Facebook that was later removed. In the post, he questioned whether his daughter received any compassion during her final moments.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSo this one time [my partner] <\/span>Tia Ynvme Taylor<\/b> and I were in the Catskills and we saw this fox on the road,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI could tell it had been hit. It was a dangerous curved road and I contemplated moving our car into the middle of the road so it wouldn\u2019t get hit again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n He continued by recalling the distress of watching another vehicle approach without slowing down. \u201cBefore I could do anything someone came around the corner and didn\u2019t slow down when I started flashing my highbeams. So the driver ran over the fox. I remember the horror I felt when I saw that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n According to Underwood, a second driver eventually stopped to help the injured animal. \u201cAnother driver pulled over and picked the fox up, who was still alive, and put it on the side of the road,\u201d he wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n
