TikTok influencer <\/span>Alix Earle<\/b> is officially heading to the small screen.<\/span><\/p>\n On January 21, Earle announced in a TikTok video that she will be getting her own reality show on Netflix later this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The series will center on her everyday life, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at both her career and her relationships with friends and family.<\/span><\/p>\n When conceptualizing the project, Earle said it was important to her that the show feel different from other reality series.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think the first thing, and the point I really didn\u2019t want to do, is just do another show, sort of, like, rinse and repeat of what we\u2019ve seen before,\u201d Earle shared in <\/span>the video<\/span><\/a>. \u201cAnd obviously, I post my life online, like I talk to you guys in real time all the time so, it\u2019s like, how is that gonna work? And what I love doing in just getting on here is, like, connecting with you guys. And, yes, there\u2019s fun and funny things, but I think at the core of our connection and our relationship is, like, sharing those vulnerable moments, just that we all experience in life together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n While Earle is known for openly sharing her life online, she admitted there are still parts of her story that fans haven\u2019t seen\u2014until now.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a lot that I share on here, obviously, I mean, I overshare everything but, like, there\u2019s also a whole side that you don\u2019t get to see, and especially when it comes to my family,\u201d Earle said.<\/span><\/p>\n She went on to explain that her family dynamic is one of the elements she believes will resonate most with viewers, no matter their stage of life.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMe and my sister are so drastically different,\u201d Earle explained. \u201c[Then there\u2019s] my mom, my dad, my stepmom, my three younger siblings. There\u2019s so many different characters, roles in life. Like, I don\u2019t know, maybe someone relates to being a stepmom, maybe someone relates to having gone through being a single mom, and just all the different personalities. We get a little crazy, we fight, but at the end of the day we always show up for each other.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Although Earle is excited about the upcoming series, she admitted it\u2019s also nerve-wracking to open up in a new way.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m scared, but in a good way, like, I\u2019m excited-scared,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it\u2019s just scary because you guys are gonna see, like, a different side of me that you haven\u2019t seen before.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She also emphasized that she hopes the show maintains a lighthearted and entertaining tone.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think when people hear, like, a docuseries, reality show, they just think, like, drama,\u201d Earle said. \u201cAnd, obviously, I mean, that\u2019s just life. Like, there\u2019s gonna be drama and things that happen. But I really want, like, it to be comical and funny. I have so many different ideas for different things we could do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Along with her casual \u201cget ready with me\u201d-style announcement, Earle also shared a professionally shot <\/span>promotional clip<\/span><\/a> in collaboration with Netflix.<\/span><\/p>\n In the video, Earle is seen walking outside the Netflix offices while talking on the phone with her father and manager\u2014also known as her \u201cdadager\u201d\u2014<\/span>Thomas Earle<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cDad, it\u2019s gonna be fun, it\u2019s gonna be fine,\u201d she said on the phone in the clip. \u201cI mean, what\u2019s the worst that could happen? Just trust me. It\u2019ll be fun.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
