Kim Kardashian<\/b> spoke publicly about <\/span>Taylor Swift<\/b> for the first time in years during a recent podcast appearance, offering a rare acknowledgment of the pop star\u2019s music while also revisiting one of the most infamous celebrity disputes of the past decade.<\/span><\/p>\n On the Jan. 21 episode of <\/span>Khlo\u00e9 in Wonderland<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span>Khloe Kardashian<\/b> asked her sister, \u201cDo you think people would be surprised you listen to Taylor Swift?\u201d Kim, 44, simply replied, \u201cI think I\u2019ve said it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She added, \u201cI have some of her older songs in my playlist. I\u2019ve always thought she\u2019s like a super talented, great artist.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The discussion comes amid a long-standing feud stemming from Kanye West\u2019s 2016 song <\/span>Famous<\/span><\/i>, which included the controversial line: \u201cI feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x \/ Why? I made that b***h famous.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Kim has previously shared edited portions of a phone call between West and Swift regarding this song, before the full video of the conversation was released four years later.<\/span><\/p>\n In March 2020, Kardashian addressed the controversy on X writing: \u201c@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now. I didn\u2019t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I\u2019m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I\u2019m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She continued, \u201cTo be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that \u2018Kanye never called to ask for permission\u2026\u2019 They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word \u2018bitch\u2019 was used without her permission.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Swift has addressed the controversy in interviews and through her music. In a December 2023 interview with <\/span>TIME<\/span><\/i><\/a>, she said: \u201cYou have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.
