Summer House<\/em><\/a> fans have watched every phase of Kyle Cooke<\/strong><\/a> and Amanda Batula<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s relationship, beginning in season 1 when she wasn\u2019t even an official cast member but would sneak into the house to hook up. In front of cameras, they\u2019ve navigated cheating, getting engaged, planning a wedding, working on their business and more.<\/p>\n

In season 10, however, they were \u201cat a crossroads,\u201d according to Amanda, before ultimately calling it quits<\/a> this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re figuring out what we want out of life and out of the relationship,\u201d Amanda, 34, told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> exclusively weeks before she and Kyle made their split public. \u201cWe\u2019re sort of trying to talk through that and figure it all out in real time. It\u2019s going to be a very raw season.\u201d<\/p>\n

One issue at hand this round is Kyle\u2019s career as a DJ, though he doesn\u2019t agree that adding a job tied to more partying<\/a> is to blame.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no particular issue \u2014 what you\u2019re seeing is a 10-year relationship<\/a>. \u2026 A lot of people don\u2019t make it very far, and that\u2019s on or off camera,\u201d Kyle, 43, told Us<\/em>, calling his DJing \u201can easy thing to point a finger at.\u201d He pointed out that he\u2019s always traveled for work and had an \u201caffinity for music\u201d Still, he added, \u201cI\u2019m not trying to discredit how Amanda feels \u2014 her frustrations are totally valid. I think that\u2019s part of what we\u2019re trying to figure out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since November 2025, there have been rumors<\/a> that the twosome are on the rocks<\/a>. They responded by putting on a united front at BravoCon and poking fun at reports that she moved out on social media. One element that stood out to Us as a potential indicator about their status during their interviews, however, was the fact that Kyle didn\u2019t know Amanda told the story about him falling asleep<\/a> at a fan\u2019s house on the show until the teaser dropped<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had no idea she talked about that. That was something that happened last February, so, literally almost a year ago. I think a lot of people jump to conclusions,\u201d he said, calling the evening an \u201cunofficial afterparty\u201d following a Bravo event. \u201cTrailers are trailers \u2014 you don\u2019t have context. That\u2019s why they\u2019re so riveting and dramatic. \u2026 It was by no means just me spending the night with some fan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Carl Radke <\/strong>and Jesse Solomon<\/strong> pointed out that the show can magnify relationship issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you pointed a camera at 95 percent of people\u2019s marriages, we\u2019d all be like, \u2018Oh, my God, wait, what?\u2019\u201d Carl offered. \u201cI give Kyle and Amanda a ton of credit \u2014 it\u2019s not easy when your relationship is a topic of conversation every summer. \u2026 It\u2019s a gift and a curse that they allow us in.\u201d<\/p>\n

From Jesse\u2019s point of view, \u201cWhat you see on TV is the boiled-down, most intense moments.\u201d He also acknowledged the love between them. \u201cI really do feel like they are each other\u2019s person. \u2026 I just want both of them to be happy \u2014 whatever that means for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda admitted that she might get answers about her own marriage watching the season back.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing on the same page with what our future looks like, what we want in life, where we\u2019re going career-wise. \u2026 Things just sort of became different for us,\u201d Amanda said. \u201cI mean, honestly, I\u2019m gonna have to watch it back and figure it out with everyone else, because I still don\u2019t know! \u2026 I\u2019m going to be learning a lot watching the show back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Overall, Kyle reiterated, \u201cLove is challenging and complicated. Relationships are challenging and complicated. Marriage is challenging and complicated.\u201d He went on to call season 10 his \u201cmost challenging season ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m proud of how open and honest [Amanda and I] are,\u201d he said. \u201cI think there\u2019s gonna be a lot of people that can relate or identify or learn from some of the challenges that we\u2019ve had. Ultimately, we\u2019re just trying to navigate this just like anybody else. It\u2019s just very different, because for a decade, we have had the luxury of all of our friends talking excessively about our relationship and then the entire internet. So, it\u2019s not easy, but I realize this is what we signed up for, but I think that I\u2019m hoping people understand and hopefully have some level of respect for us putting it all out there, and this is by no means a moment to choose sides. We\u2019re trying to navigate this to the day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of the endless fan chatter about their ups and downs, he added, \u201cI hope people appreciate our willingness to put it all out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

On her end, Amanda noted to Us<\/em> that in a \u201cstrange, weird and twisted\u201d way, one of the words she uses to describe this summer is \u201chealing.\u201d<\/p>\n
