The 28-year-old actress is thankful for the friendship and support she has received from her Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials co-star and even after they finished filming the drama series, they have stayed in close contact.<\/p>\n
Mia told The Sunday Times’ Culture magazine: \u201cShe calls me \u2018daughter\u2019 and I text her, like, \u2018Hey Mum\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201c[She\u2019s taught me] to advocate for myself \u2026 it\u2019s OK to say you need something.\u201d <\/p>\n
Helena, 59, always carries a basked of snacks and drinks, including dried mango and smoothies for energy, and Mia has begun doing the same.<\/p>\n
\nShe noted: \u201cNow I\u2019ve introduced a snack situation.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Persuasion actress has been cast as Ringo Starr’s wife Maureen in Sir Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles biopics and she already views co-stars Barry Keoghan, Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson and Joseph Quinn – who play the Fab Four – as “brothers”.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “[I was one of the first cast] so I spent a lot of time early on with all the boys. They\u2019re all like brothers, like silly boys, in a good way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAsked which of the quartet has the best voice, Mia was reluctant to answer before offering praise for her on-screen husband.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cBarry. I\u2019ll support my Baz.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBecause of her role in the biopics, Mia has found people are keen to share their Beatles stories with her.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cSomeone described her as the person who, if she went to a party, would be the one that would go up to the person who was on their own. She had a huge heart…<\/p>\n
\n“A lot of people come up to me and share their stories about the Beatles now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the How to Have Sex star and her husband Tom Leach have a two-year-old son Leo together and while she adores her little boy, Mia admitted starting a family in her 20s wasn’t “overly planned”.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I can\u2019t say it was overly planned \u2026 it\u2019s not easy, don\u2019t get me wrong. But it\u2019s magic.”<\/p>\n
\nMia is grateful for the support of her family and friends when it comes to jugglnig motherhood with her career.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIt\u2019s an all-hands-on-deck situation.\u201d<\/p>\n
