The confirmation came after the actor was spotted out in public holding a newborn during a low-key outing in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Details surrounding the baby remain unknown at this time, with no information yet revealed about the child\u2019s name or gender. Elgort himself has not commented publicly on becoming a parent.<\/p>\n<p>The actor was photographed on January 13 running errands in New York with the baby strapped to his chest in a carrier. Despite the life-changing milestone, Elgort appeared relaxed and casual for the winter stroll, wearing black leather trousers, matching boots tucked beneath them, and a blue-and-white knit sweater.<\/p>\n<p>He was accompanied by a mystery woman, who kept a similarly understated profile in denim jeans, a black top and a white cropped puffer jacket. The pair were later seen taking the subway together, where they reportedly met up with two older individuals believed to be the woman\u2019s parents.<\/p>\n<p>\nElgort has long been known for keeping his personal life relatively private, particularly in recent years. He was previously in a high-profile relationship with ballerina Violetta Komyshan, whom he dated for nearly a decade. The former couple first met as teenagers while attending LaGuardia High School in New York City and were often seen supporting one another at public events and premieres.<\/p>\n<p>\nRumours of their split began circulating in August 2022 after Elgort was photographed kissing a mystery woman.
