Christina Chang<\/strong><\/a> really is like a mom to Hudson Williams<\/strong><\/a> and Connor Storrie<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The 54-year-old actress plays Hudson<\/strong>\u2018s mom, Yuna Hollander, in Heated Rivalry<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, and during a new interview, she opened up about her young co-stars\u2019 newfound fame. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWell, they\u2019ve got me,\u201d she told Forbes<\/a><\/em>\u2018 Jeff Conway<\/strong>. \u201cThey got mom. So, I\u2019m here to make the chicken soup. I have become their assistant. That is what I am. I think they are not going to shift in any way. I think they\u2019re handling it incredibly well.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cWhen I talk with them or text with them, they seem like they\u2019re in a good headspace,\u201d Christina<\/strong> continued. \u201cThey\u2019re very good about remaining relaxed through all of it, which I think is so important because that allows you to be present and take it in. I think they\u2019re doing really well. I don\u2019t think they need any advice from anybody yet, unless they ask. They\u2019re exhausted \u2013 that\u2019s all I know.\u201d<\/p>\n In another interview, Christina<\/strong> noted how she feels protective over them. <\/p>\n \u201cI do feel protective of them as my castmates and friends and because of my age \u2014 [I feel] motherly, I guess maternal love. I think they\u2019ve handled it so well,\u201d she told TV Guide<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI have to remind myself that this is the first series they\u2019ve ever done, and that they\u2019re only 25. I\u2019m not saying [their age] is why they\u2019re handling it well. They\u2019re just handling it well, period, regardless of whether they\u2019re 45 or 25. But I\u2019m more impressed that they\u2019re such young men, and they\u2019re so nice. They actually are really nice guys, and fun and funny.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think they\u2019re exhausted. I know that. We check in via text. [Checks her phone<\/em>.] In fact, I just got a text from Hudson<\/strong> right now,\u201d she added. \u201cBut I\u2019m always checking in on them, and their schedules are crazy right now, and my hope for them is that they can sleep soon. I want them to rest, and I want to make them chicken soup. [Laughs<\/em>.] But, really, I\u2019m like, \u2018Hudson<\/strong>, when are you back in Vancouver? When can I have you over for dinner?
