Khloe Kardashian<\/a>, is accused of driving more than 41 miles per hour over the speed limit and making an improper lane change\/or having a failure to maintain his lane.<\/p>\nThe former Los Angeles Lakers star – who was previously arrested for DUI in 2013 – has been open about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and almost lost his life after overdosing on cocaine, alcohol and cannabis at a Las Vegas brothel in 2015.<\/p>\n
Writing about the ordeal in his 2019 book Darkness to Light, Odom wrote: “My heart stopped twice. I had 12 seizures and six strokes. My lungs collapsed and my kidneys ruptured. I was on life support. Everyone I’d ever loved was looking at me through bleary eyes.<\/p>\n
\n“(The overdose) made me realise I couldn’t live the way I’d been living.”<\/p>\n
\nLamar married Khloe after just one month of dating in 2009 but The Kardashians star knew she had to file for divorce four years later following a “pivotal moment” during a conversation when the sports star was in the grip of addiction.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on her Khloe in Wonderland podcast last year, the 41-year-old star said: “I remember, I was married and my ex-husband had a drug addiction. <\/p>\n
\n“And I knew that his addiction always heightened – he was in the NBA – and his addiction always heightened when he was in the off-season, cause idle time is the devil’s playground.<\/p>\n
\n“And so I remember he was asked to go to Team USA, if I remember correctly, and I was begging, ‘Please, please go to Team USA’, and I was pushing, and I remember he just looked at me and said, ‘You can’t want it more than I do.’<\/p>\n
\n“It was so profound… I wanted it so badly, because I wanted to help him and to get him to feel the motivation and feel good, but he just wasn’t in that place.”<\/p>\n
\nKhloe continued: “It took me a long time to get to, then I had to file for divorce.<\/p>\n
\n“That was a very pivotal moment in my life because I remember that statement being like… ‘Yeah, you’re right. I can’t want your life more than you.'”<\/p>\n
