Zachery Ty Bryan<\/strong>\u2019s former fianc\u00e9e, Johnnie Cartwright<\/strong>, was nearly double the legal limit when she was arrested in November for DUI, Us Weekly<\/em> can exclusively reveal.<\/p>\n

Cartwright, 32, \u201crefused to provide a blood alcohol sample as requested,\u201d the prosecutor told the judge at her sentencing on Wednesday, January 14.<\/p>\n

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities took her blood \u201cabout eight and a half hours\u201d after a bystander called 911 to report a female (Cartwright) attempting to run over a male<\/a> (Bryan) with her truck.<\/p>\n

Police then discovered that Cartwright\u2019s BAC was .164%, \u201croughly double the legal limit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cartwright was sentenced to 24 months of probation<\/a> after pleading guilty to DUI, Us<\/em> has confirmed.<\/p>\n

She also pleaded guilty to reckless driving, and the charge of recklessly endangering another person was dismissed.<\/p>\n

During her sentencing, the prosecutor shared that Cartwright \u201chad an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath\u201d on the day of her arrest and \u201cmade repetitive statements, and fluctuated between being agitated and crying.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cartwright\u2019s attorney said her client was \u201cextremely regretful\u201d of her actions.<\/p>\n

Cartwright pleaded guilty to DUI and reckless driving, both misdemeanors, in an Oregon courtroom on Wednesday, January 14, according to hearing audio exclusively obtained by Us Weekly. She also touched on Cartwright\u2019s \u201ctumultuous relationship\u201d with Bryan<\/a>, 44, and revealed the two are no longer together.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had been convicted of domestic violence and is pending a revocation of his downward departure for contacting Ms. Cartwright at the time of this incident. She was told by him that his probation had been completed and that he was able to have contact with her,\u201d the lawyer stated. \u201cIn my discussions with her, I let her know that that was indeed not the case. They have a tumultuous relationship. It\u2019s the best way to summarize it. They do share 3 small children, and she depends on him financially quite a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the day of the incident, Bryan was arrested for violating probation as a result of a prior assault conviction. He was released from police custody on December 10, 2025.<\/p>\n

Cartwright was released from jail on December 3, 2025, but was back in custody<\/a> shortly thereafter after violating her pretrial release.<\/p>\n
