After being inspired by pop megastar Katy Perry<\/a>‘s jaw-dropping aerial stunts and trapeze work in her Lifetimes Tour, the 31-year-old singer started doing aerial rope classes and even enlisted the help of some artists from Cirque du Soleil – world famous for its circus productions – to teach her.<\/p>\n

The Brit Award winner – who supported the Firework hitmaker, 41, on her Lifetimes Tour in 2025 – told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I\u2019ve actually started some aerial work myself. <\/p>\n

“I was on tour with Katy Perry<\/a> last year, and she had quite a few aerial artists.<\/p>\n

“A couple of them were from Cirque du Soleil, so it kind of inspired me, and I\u2019ve started my own rope, which I\u2019ve had a few goes on, and I\u2019m not too bad. It\u2019s a lot of upper-body strength, so I\u2019m enjoying having a new hobby.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAsked if she would show off her aerial rope skills on tour, the Crazy What Love Can Do hitmaker added: “I\u2019d like to do a little bit.”<\/p>\n

\nBecky hinted that fans could see her dangling from the ceiling in a sexy performance.<\/p>\n

\nQuizzed if she could be flying around venues during her gigs like singer Pink, 46, does, the chart topper – who attended the launch of Cirque du Soleil\u2019s new show, OVO, at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on Wednesday (14.01.26) – replied: “Sort of, I want to do it a little bit more sultry than that.<\/p>\n

\n“But yeah, I have started rope specifically, and that\u2019s why I have come here because I want to see it from the true professionals.”<\/p>\n

\nElsewhere, Becky – who is working on her third album – said she wants to “bring rock ‘n’ roll back to dance music”.<\/p>\n

\nThe Wish You Well singer explained: “It\u2019s going to be a very different project this year, so I\u2019m very excited.<\/p>\n

\n“I want to bring rock \u2019n\u2019 roll back to dance music. We used to have rock stars in dance music. Dance is a bit flat at the minute. I\u2019m just trying to get all my stuff in order.<\/p>\n

\n“I\u2019m writing the album, and hopefully I\u2019ll get cracking this year.”<\/p>\n
