Devolver Digital shared details and trailers about some projects in development during its latest showcase on Thursday. However, much of the presentation revolved around a tongue-in-cheek mascot, \u201cVolvy,\u201d a fictionalized history of the mascot\u2019s impact on gaming culture, and the \u201creturn\u201d of the character as a robot (VOLV-E). It was weird, but that\u2019s kind of Devolver\u2019s thing for its presentations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You\u2019ll have to collect resources, construct buildings, and explore what looks like a large map. A demo is now available on Steam. The game is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X \/ S as well, and it\u2019s set to launch sometime in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n We got a new gameplay trailer<\/a> for The Talos Principle II<\/em>, a sequel to the well-regarded first-person puzzler The Talos Principle<\/em>. We already knew the game was on the way \u2014 it was included as part of its PlayStation Showcase in May<\/a> \u2014 but this trailer provided another look at the mysterious puzzle title. It\u2019s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X \/ S, and PC this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In Baby Steps<\/em><\/a>, a new game from the makers of Ape Out<\/em> and Getting Over It!<\/em>, you play as Nate, a washout stumbling his way up a mountain. It appears you individually manipulate Nate\u2019s legs \u2014 a press email describes Baby Steps<\/em> as a \u201cliteral walking simulator\u201d \u2014 which should lead to some hilarious QWOP<\/em>-like mishaps. (Not surprising, given Getting Over It<\/em>! creator Bennett Foddy also made QWOP<\/em><\/a>.) It\u2019s coming out in 2024 for PS5 and PC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
