Can you keep a secret? Fans have been hooked on the mysteries surrounding Pretty Little Liars<\/em><\/a> since its June 2010 premiere.<\/p>\n From 2010 to 2017, viewers tuned in to see what twists and turns<\/a> awaited the Liars, after their mutual friend Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse<\/strong><\/a>) went missing and threw her remaining friends\u2019 lives into a tailspin. The trouble began when a mysterious bully called \u201cA\u201d began threatening to release the girls\u2019 secrets to the world.<\/p>\n Brainiac Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario<\/strong><\/a>), athlete Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell<\/strong><\/a>), shy girl turned popular teen Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson<\/strong><\/a>) and artsy Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale<\/strong><\/a>) teamed up for seven seasons to try and figure out who \u201cA\u201d was and how they were related to Alison\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n Based on the Sara Shepard<\/strong>\u00a0book series<\/a>, the teens faced murderers and blackmailers while also navigating the hardships of high school in the small fictional town of Rosewood.<\/p>\n Since the series\u2019 end in 2017, many of the stars\u2019 professional lives have continued to flourish<\/a>, including Hale, who, following the short-lived show Life Sentence<\/em><\/a>, landed the leading role of Katy Keene in the 2019 CW series of the same name.<\/p>\n In addition to career successes, many of the show\u2019s stars started new chapters in their lives after their time on the Freeform series. Pieterse, Bellisario, Holly Marie Combs<\/strong><\/a>, who played Aria\u2019s mom on the show, and Janel Parrish<\/strong><\/a>, who played frenemy Mona Vanderwaal, have all gotten married<\/a>.<\/p>\n Two of the four Liars have also become mothers<\/a> since their time ended on PLL<\/em>. Bellisario<\/a> and Mitchell both welcomed daughters in 2018 and 2019, respectively, with Bellisario quietly giving birth again in 2021<\/a>. Mitchell announced in June 2022 that she had welcomed her second child, daughter Rome<\/a>, with partner Matte Babel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve seen her go through all these different stages and there was a time where she didn\u2019t even think she wanted kids,\u201d Pieterse told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively<\/a> in July 2019 about Mitchell becoming a first-time mother. \u201cSo to be at this point and how excited she is, she\u2019s going to be such a good mom.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress, who announced in May 2020 that she was pregnant with her first child<\/a>, added: \u201cShe\u2019s always been so independent and so strong and confident and I think that\u2019s exactly what she is going to bring to the table with her kids. I think it\u2019s so special and she\u2019s just got such a big heart so that baby is loved already.\u201d<\/p>\n The friendships made during their time on set has extended beyond the four leading ladies<\/a> \u2014 who all have matching tattoos to commemorate the show.<\/p>\n For example Ian Harding<\/strong><\/a>, who played Erza Fitz, teamed up with Mitchell for numerous videos on her YouTube channel.
