After delivering a night full of laugh-out-loud moments at the 2026 ceremony, the comedian is now pulling back the curtain on the jokes that were deemed a little too spicy for the star-studded crowd.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh off the Globes, Nikki appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ge06sjjQkBA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Howard Stern Show<\/a>, where she admitted that some of her favorite punchlines didn\u2019t survive the final cut \u2014 and she\u2019s totally at peace with that now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThings live on,\u201d she explained, noting that awards shows are a different beast than a comedy club. \u201cSometimes a joke is just for the room.\u201d Nikki added, \u201cThere\u2019s been times where jokes have really hurt people\u2019s feelings or I\u2019ve gone too far and I feel like I\u2019m always okay with losing stuff now. It was always really hard to cut those jokes, and now I\u2019m just like, \u2018You just don\u2019t get everything you want, and you just gotta move on and let\u2019s just write a better joke. There\u2019s gotta be a better joke out there.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still, fans are understandably dying to know what didn\u2019t make it. And while the jokes were ultimately scrapped, they were very much on-brand Nikki \u2014 bold, biting and unapologetically savage.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Nikki Glaser Reveals What Jokes She Cut From Her 2026 Golden Globes Monologue\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ge06sjjQkBA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>One joke took aim at Hollywood\u2019s box office woes, with Nikki quipping, \u201cYou know, people just aren\u2019t going to the theaters to see things and if you don\u2019t believe me, there was a movie this year where Sydney Sweeney played a lesbian who just bounced around in tiny shorts for two hours and it made $14.2.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another scrapped line tackled the industry\u2019s obsession with AI: \u201cEveryone\u2019s concerned about AI. Tilly Norwood is the first star to be completely generated by AI, and somehow has still been sexually assaulted by three different studio execs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean Penn<\/strong>, apparently, was also a recurring target. Nikki joked, \u201cSean Penn is here looking like the defiant last tree standing in a rainforest,\u201d before adding, \u201cSean Penn is nominated tonight, I\u2019m assuming for best neck veins?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Julia Roberts<\/strong> didn\u2019t escape either. \u201cJulia Roberts is nominated for After the Hunt. I don\u2019t know what it\u2019s about, but I\u2019m assuming the hunt was to find someone who\u2019s seen it?\u201d Nikki reportedly joked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong>, <strong>Benicio del Toro<\/strong> and Penn were lumped together in one particularly savage bit: \u201cSean Penn, Benicio del Toro, and Leonardo DiCaprio are here tonight for the category, Least Eyes. Leo, why are you always squinting? I mean, I assume it\u2019s to read your girlfriend\u2019s ID, just making sure the year starts with a 2.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also poked fun at People\u2019s Sexiest Man Alive, saying, \u201c<strong>Jonathan Bailey<\/strong> is here. Jonathan is the first openly gay man to be named the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine. And at first I was like, \u2018Do we really need to say openly?\u2019 and then I looked at a list of past winners, and I was like, \u2018Oh yeah, we do.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeff Goldblum<\/strong> and<strong> Brad Pitt<\/strong> were also on her hit list. \u201cJeff Goldblum is here tonight, not because he is nominated, just because they were shooting an ad for Apartments.com down the street, and he just kind of wandered in,\u201d she joked, adding, \u201cYou haven\u2019t lived in apartments since you were a fly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And finally, on Hollywood aging: \u201cBrad Pitt is nominated for his role in F1 tonight. See, that\u2019s what I love about Hollywood. When a man turns 60, he gets to play a racecar driver.
