Timothy Busfield<\/strong><\/a> faces another allegation of sexual abuse. <\/p>\n The 68-year-old West Wing<\/em> alum and husband of actress Melissa Gilbert<\/strong><\/a>, who denies all wrongdoing, surrendered himself to police<\/a> in New Mexico after a warrant was issued for his arrest. <\/p>\n He faces two charges<\/a> of alleged criminal sexual contact with a minor and one of child abuse in relation to allegations that he sexually abused twin boys who he met on the set of the Fox series The Cleaning Lady<\/em> in 2022. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n According to a pretrial detention motion examined by PEOPLE<\/a>, Busfield <\/strong>has now been accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl. <\/p>\n The motion, which asks a judge to keep Busfield <\/strong>in custody until his trial, noted that the unnamed victim\u2019s father, Colin Swift<\/strong>, accused the actor of sexually abusing her \u201cseveral years ago.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cWhile auditioning for [Busfield] at B Street Threatre, the 16-year-old reported that [Busfield] kissed her and put his hands down her pants and touched her privates,\u201d the motion reads, per PEOPLE.<\/p>\n It continued, claiming Busfield <\/strong>\u201cbegged the family to not report to law enforcement if he received therapy.\u201d Swift, who is a therapist, \u201cthought at the time that was the best thing to do.\u201d <\/p>\n Busfield<\/strong> denied the previous allegations in a video published by TMZ<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sure most of you know, that are watching this, that I was ordered to come to Albuquerque \u2013 I\u2019m here now. I got the call Friday night, I had to get a lawyer. Saturday I got in the car, drove 2,000 miles to Albuquerque. I\u2019m gonna confront these lies. They\u2019re horrible,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n Continuing, he added, \u201cThey\u2019re all lies and I did not do anything to those little boys and I\u2019m gonna fight it. I\u2019m gonna fight it with a great team, and I\u2019m gonna be exonerated, I know I am, because this is all so wrong and all lies.\u201d<\/p>\n
