An unconventional match. Colleen Reed<\/strong><\/a> and Matt Bolton<\/strong><\/a> found their forever on season 3 of Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> \u2014 but the journey wasn\u2019t always easy.<\/p>\n The PR strategist and the sales executive connected late in the game<\/a> after Colleen struggled to bond with a handful of other men, including Cole Barnett<\/strong><\/a>, who didn\u2019t think she was \u201cdeep\u201d enough<\/a>. While talking to Matt in the pods, however, Colleen slowly got more vulnerable.<\/p>\n The former LFC Industries vice president also shed his layers, opening up about his divorce<\/a> from his high school sweetheart. The exes got married young, but Matt revealed that his former spouse cheated on him<\/a>, leading him to be more guarded in his relationships.<\/p>\n Throughout season 3, Colleen and Matt appeared to be hot and cold. They were faced with multiple conflicts<\/a> before their wedding day \u2014 and Matt threatened to ditch the reality show more than once. Their biggest challenge was moving on from Colleen\u2019s conversation with Cole<\/a> at a pool party with the entire cast, during which the Bdellium Real Estate founder confessed that Colleen was the type of person he was usually attracted to<\/a> in the real world. She agreed, which didn\u2019t sit well with Matt \u2014 or with Cole\u2019s then-fianc\u00e9e, Zanab Jaffrey<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n When the season 3 reunion aired in November 2022, Colleen apologized to her costars<\/a> for the drama. \u201cIt was really hard for me to watch. I get emotional [about it],\u201d she said. \u201cI never would ever want to disrespect [Cole and Zanab\u2019s] relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n Before fans watched the couple exchange vows, the professional dancer opened up about reliving her journey with Matt. \u201cThese most recent episodes have shown some of our toughest moments but also amazing memories that I\u2019ll forever cherish,\u201d she wrote via Instagram<\/a> in October 2022. \u201cThe yacht date was unbelievable and meeting each other\u2019s family and friends was very special. We talked for hours about bringing each other into our \u2018real world\u2019 and when we eventually were able to do so, we realized quickly how much love and respect we have for each other. I\u2019ll always love our story \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n The twosome were one of only two couples to say yes<\/a> during the season 3 finale, along with Alexa Alfia<\/strong><\/a> and Brennon Lemieux<\/strong><\/a>. After keeping their relationship under wraps \u2014 the Netflix hit was filmed in May 2021 \u2014 Colleen gushed over married life.<\/p>\n \u201cMatt, I met you in the most unexpected way and now I can\u2019t imagine a life without you,\u201d she captioned a November 2022 Instagram<\/a> tribute. \u201cWe have gone through many challenges and I\u2019m proud of much we learned from each hurdle that we have come across.
