Olympian Ilona Maher<\/strong><\/a> has some choice words for anyone who claims she \u201clooks pregnant\u201d in her form-fitting attire.<\/p>\n

\u201cA guy recently commented on a picture of me and said, \u2018You look pregnant in that dress.\u2019 And he deleted his comment because I had a great comeback, but I wanted to do it again for you all,\u201d Maher, 29, said in a video shared via TikTok<\/a> on Saturday, January 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo to him I say, that\u2019s just a normal woman\u2019s body,\u201d the Olympian continued in the post, while showing off a form-fitting orange dress that showcased her arms and hugged her curves. \u201cYou probably haven\u2019t seen a woman naked in a long time, if ever, and I hope you never get the privilege to again.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cBecause that\u2019s just how we are, OK? That\u2019s just what we\u2019re working with. Me? A professional athlete. I always have this. It\u2019s just part of me \u2014 I\u2019m sucking it in right now and I have it. So please, please, stop commenting the dumbest stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maher, 27, started playing rugby in high school before making a name for herself as a collegiate athlete. Maher, who helped the U.S. women\u2019s rugby sevens team win bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics \u2014 the country\u2019s first Olympic medal in rugby sevens \u2014 is no stranger to people making unwarranted, unwanted and unnecessary comments about her body and overall look.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was always like, you know, called masculine or whatever,\u201d Maher told Sports Illustrated<\/em> in her 2024 cover story. \u201cBut I never felt that way. But I don\u2019t think you\u2019re going to bully the girl who could probably beat you up in a rage. I love that [rugby] showed me what I can do. It showed me how capable my body is and it\u2019s not just, like, a tool to be looked at and objectified.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maher further opened up exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em> about her view on body positivity amid a sea of online trolls, explaining how she continues to view her body and what it can \u2014 and does \u2014 do for her.<\/p>\n
