Jameela Jamil thinks Emily Bader will become “what Jennifer Aniston<\/a> was to [her] generation”.<\/p>\n

Emily Bader stars in the new romcom<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old actress stars alongside Emily, 29, in People We Meet on Vacation, the film adaptation of Emily Henry’s 2021 novel, and Jameela has heaped praise on her co-star, suggesting that Emily could become the “next big thing” in the movie business.<\/p>\n

Jameela told People: “Emily is our next big thing. I think she\u2019s what Jennifer Aniston<\/a> was to my generation.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m really rooting for her and I think she\u2019s going to go on to do great things, and I\u2019m excited for the whole world to see her now.”<\/p>\n

Jameela also loved starring in the film adaptation of the popular novel.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress said: “This film was some of the most fun I\u2019ve ever had at my job.<\/p>\n

\n“I love everyone involved. I love the story. I think it\u2019s what we need in the world right now, given how bleak everything is.”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, Jameela previously revealed she was hoping to join the Star Wars franchise.<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking to SFX magazine, she said: “I’ve done DC, I’ve done the MCU, I’ve now joined Star Trek, so it feels only natural that I should at least be allowed to do catering at Star Wars.<\/p>\n

\n“I\u2019ve been referring to it as my nerd EGOT \u2013 that would be the ultimate dream come true and fulfil every 12-year-old fantasy I had.”<\/p>\n

\nJameela teased she was hoping to be cast as a villain in the franchise because she “really [loves] playing the bad guy”.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress said: “I\u2019d take literally anything, but I think a villain. I do really love playing the bad guy.<\/p>\n

\n“I enjoy complex characters who start off as mentally unrelatable, who we can find the relatability of.<\/p>\n

\n“Right now we are so divided. We almost seek to misunderstand each other. If we don’t understand each other, we’re never going to be able to find a way back to one another.<\/p>\n

\n“That’s something that I’m very drawn to, helping people understand people who are different to them. And so I’m into playing the villains.”<\/p>\n
