We\u2019re going into every dark corner of L.A. politics and disinfecting the city with our light,\u201d Pratt said to a crowd of hundreds yesterday, many of whom cheered.<\/p>\n<p>Pratt actually grew up in Pacific Palisades. <\/p>\n<p>The aforementioned fire destroyed the $2.5 million, three-bedroom home where he and his had lived since 2017, along with a residence belonging to his parents.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since, his emotional and often viral posts have actually made a difference. They\u2019ve helped prompt two Republican senators to start an investigation into the fires in October and \u201cSpencer for Governor\u201d T-shirts have been on sale for months on his website\u2026 perhaps as a way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/01\/spencer-pratt-and-heidi-montag-were-poor-keep-giving-us-money\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">help him make some much-needed money<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week, Doug Herman, a spokesman for Ms. Bass\u2019s campaign, actually issued a statement in response to Pratt\u2019s candidacy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s no shock that in advance of his imminent book release, a reality TV \u2018villain\u2019 who once staged a fake divorce to boost ratings and spent the last summer spewing post-fire misinformation and disinformation to pump up his social media following, would now announce he\u2019s running for mayor,\u201d Herman said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/01\/spencer-pratt-announces-run-for-los-angeles-mayor-no-really\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading Time: 3 minutes Folks, this is not a drill.
