Surely corporate America must know that standard tablespoons absolutely do not fit inside spice jars. Do they secretly delight in frustrating home cooks?\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"Html\">\n<p>Case in point: A recipe calls for a tablespoon of cumin. I have cumin. I have a tablespoon. The problem is that my tablespoon doesn\u2019t fit inside my spice jar, so I\u2019m left to either pour dried spices onto my spoon and inevitably onto the counter, or I do that delicate dance of dipping a half teaspoon into the tiny jar six times. (Oh wait, was that the fifth time?) You can spend two dollars more for an extra spoon, or a little less for just six spoons \u2014 which is already plenty for my casual cooking and baking needs.
