Josh Charles is a big Baltimore Ravens fan<\/p>\n
The 54-year-old actor had a cameo in the 36-year-old singer’s 2024 music video for Fortnight alongside his Dead Poets Society co-star Ethan Hawke and he admitted he wasn’t impressed by the sportsman after the Kansas City Chiefs beat his beloved Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Josh said: “I\u2019ve always liked Travis Kelce, I thought he was cool, but that year they beat us in the AFC championship game \u2014 they beat the Ravens \u2014 he was a real jerk that year.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo I kind of fell off of him. When I met him, I said, \u2018You know I always liked you, and this year you were kind of a D-I-C-K.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
But the Good Wife star insisted Travis wasn’t offended and the two men went on to strike up a bond discussing NFL stats.<\/p>\n
\nJosh recalled: \u201cHe laughed, and he said, \u2018You know what, you\u2019re right.’<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe\u2019s such a good dude. I really like him.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Sport Night actor previously admitted he thought Ethan was “punking” him when he first told him Taylor wanted them to appear in her video.<\/p>\n
\nHe recalled: “Taylor knows Ethan’s daughter Maya and reached out to her. Obviously the title of the album is Tortured Poets Department, so I think it’s obviously a little tip of the cap to Dead Poets Society \u2014 other tortured poets \u2014 and she probably had this idea it would be interesting for us to be in the video.<\/p>\n
\n“So she then reached out to Ethan, and Ethan reached out to me. Once I got over thinking he was punking me, you know, when he first called me, I said, ‘Dude, are you bulls***ting with me? Because if you’re f***ing with me right now….<\/p>\n
\n“He was like, ‘This is dead serious. And we talked about it, and I talked to her people and it seemed like such a fun idea.”<\/p>\n
\nJosh – who has two children with wife Sophie Flack – went on to praise Taylor as a great director and a “cool” person.<\/p>\n
\nHe gushed: “She’s an incredible director, my favourite kind of director, because she knows what she wants.<\/p>\n
\n“I will say this \u2014 I was already a fan of her music but if any of you ever get to meet her, your fandom for her will just go up through the roof. She’s just such a genuine, cool, approachable person, and that’s nice to see because that’s not always the case.”<\/p>\n
