It\u2019s 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The 54-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/10\/savannah-guthrie-shameful-question-today-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">journalist<\/a> explained that she needed vocal cord surgery to address nodules and a polyp.<\/p>\n<p>Savannah admitted that some viewers may have noticed that her voice had been \u201cvery scratchy\u201d of late.<\/p>\n<p>Not only did she need to have a surgeon remove them, but she needed to be on vocal rest during the recovery.
