A hacktivist remotely wiped three white supremacist websites live on stage during their talk at a hacker conference last week, with the sites yet to return online.<\/p>\n
The pseudonymous hacker, who goes by Martha Root<\/a> \u2014 dressed as Pink Ranger from the Power Rangers \u2014 deleted the servers of WhiteDate, WhiteChild, and WhiteDeal in real-time at the end of a talk<\/a> at the annual Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg, Germany.\u00a0<\/p>\n Root gave the talk alongside journalists Eva Hoffmann<\/a> and Christian Fuchs<\/a>, who wrote an article<\/a> about the hacked sites for the German weekly paper Die Zeit in October.\u00a0<\/p>\n As of this writing WhiteDate, which Hoffmann described as a \u201cTinder for Nazis\u201d; WhiteChild, a site that claimed to match white supremacists\u2019 sperm and egg donors; and WhiteDeal, a sort-of Taskrabbit-esque labor marketplace for racists, are all offline.<\/p>\n The administrator of the three websites confirmed the hack on their social media accounts.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThey publicly delete all my websites while the audience rejoices. This is cyberterrorism,\u201d the administrator wrote on X<\/a> on Sunday, vowing repercussions.<\/p>\n The administrator also claimed that Root deleted their X account before it was restored.<\/p>\n
