Mickey Rourke<\/a> is currently facing a very difficult and urgent situation: he is at risk of being evicted from his home. It’s claimed Rourke’s rent increased from $5,200 to $7,000 per month, and in December, he was hit with a three-day eviction notice. <\/p>\n
\nDocuments obtained by the Daily Mail newspaper – which had been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 29, 2025 – stated he was handed the notice on December 18.<\/p>\n
\nPlaintiff Eric T. Goldie claimed the Iron Man II star owed $59,100 in unpaid rent.<\/p>\n
\nIt’s said he only started renting the three-bedroom house on March 30, when he signed a lease for $5,200 per month.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to the lawsuit, the rent was raised to $7,000 in his second month of occupancy.<\/p>\n
\nThe complaint claims that Rourke wasn’t at home when someone attempt to present him with the three-day notice, which meant the document was instead posted outside the property.<\/p>\n
\nGoldie is also looking to end the lease, and have Rourke pay his attorney fees.<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this year, The Wrestler star admitted his career is “in the toilet” after making some mistakes in the past, and he has struggled to book jobs because of his bad boy reputation.<\/p>\n
\nHe also confessed he signed up to appear in UK reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother because he can’t face filming a “really bad independent movie”.<\/p>\n
\nBack in April, he told The Sun newspaper: “I\u2019ve made mistakes, many. I have nobody to blame for my ship sinking except myself.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy career is in the toilet and I\u2019m not getting A-list\u00a0movies. I\u2019d like to be back where I can work on movies that have integrity.<\/p>\n
\n“There\u2019s directors I want to work with and have them not be afraid of me and trust me for who I am today, not for the reputation I have.<\/p>\n
\n“But once it goes past a certain point, I\u2019ve got a short fuse – there\u2019s no turning back. It\u2019s on.”<\/p>\n
\nHe added that for CBB, it was a choice between the reality show “or a really bad independent movie”.<\/p>\n
\nHowever, he was ejected from the programme’s house by producers following his “unacceptable behaviour”.<\/p>\n
\nJoJo Siwa had accused him of “homophobic” language after overhearing him say he would \u201cvote the lesbian out real quick\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nChris Hughes – who later started dating the former Dance Moms star after leaving the house – defended her, and Rourke was ejected after what was described as “threatening and aggressive\u201d behaviour towards him.<\/p>\n
\nA CBB spokesperson said at the time: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.\u201d<\/p>\n
