Awards season is kicking off just four days into the new year with the 2026 Critics Choice Awards<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n

Chelsea Handler<\/strong><\/a> is hosting the annual event on Sunday evening (January 4) at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif, for the fourth year in a row.<\/p>\n

There is a stacked list of presenters<\/a> this evening, from Wicked<\/em> stars to Kpop Demon Hunters<\/em> stars and singers, a Stranger Things<\/em> actor and many more! <\/p>\n

Ryan Coogler<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Sinners<\/em> movie leads the nominations with 17, while One Battle After Another<\/em> comes in second with 14 noms overall. Also among the nominees include Wicked: For Good<\/em>, Marty Supreme<\/em>, Bugonia<\/em>, Weapons<\/em>, Jay Kelly<\/em> and more. <\/p>\n

On the TV side, Adolescence <\/em>leads with six, followed by Nobody Wants This<\/em> with five. Ghosts<\/em>, The Diplomat<\/em>, The Pitt<\/em>, The Morning Show<\/em>, Abbott Elementary<\/em>, Hacks<\/em> and more are also nominated. <\/p>\n
