\t\t<\/p>\n Dave Franco<\/strong><\/a> enjoyed working with young co-star Mason Thames<\/strong><\/a>, he had to do it twice!<\/p>\n The two actors first starred in the Regretting You<\/em> movie adaptation<\/a>, and will next be seen in the upcoming film The Sh-theads<\/em>, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival<\/em> later this month. <\/p>\n Last fall, Dave<\/strong> dished on what it has been working with Mason <\/strong>on two projects now. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI had such a great time working with him on [Regretting You<\/em>] that I roped him into another movie,\u201d he told People<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n In The Sh-theads<\/em>, per Deadline<\/a><\/em>, cynical degenerate Mark (Franco<\/strong>) and bumbling idealist Davis (O\u2019Shea Jackson Jr<\/strong><\/a>) have both hit rock bottom.\u202fPaired for a job by a shady transport service, their task seems simple: transport Sheridan (Thames<\/strong>), a wealthy troubled teen, to rehab.\u202fBut Sheridan has other plans and what starts as a simple road trip becomes an unhinged odyssey of drug-fueled disasters, near-death experiences and criminal encounters. Out of their minds and in way over their heads, Mark and Davis find the courage to face their failures and realize that it\u2019s not the destination that matters, it\u2019s the\u202fsh*theads\u202fyou meet along the way. <\/p>\n \u201cIt was incredible seeing [Thames<\/strong>] go from this like sweet, earnest, charming guy in [Regretting You<\/em>], and then arguably the craziest psychopath on screen since Hannibal Lecter in The S\u2014heads<\/em>,\u201d Dave<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n Mason<\/strong> even looks up to Dave<\/strong>. <\/p>\n \u201cGenuinely I think Dave<\/strong> is, he is my mentor, and I look up to him so much,\u201d he shared. \u201cHis work ethic is unlike a lot I\u2019ve seen in my small, tiny little career so far.\u201d <\/p>\n Also starring in The Sh-theads<\/em> are Kiernan Shipka<\/strong><\/a>, Peter Dinklage<\/strong><\/a> and Nicholas Braun<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n If you missed it, in November, Dave<\/strong> said he was going to \u201cdisappear for a while\u201d<\/a> after Now You See Me 3<\/em> premiered. <\/p>\n Mason<\/strong> is also set to return<\/a> for How to Train Your Dragon 2<\/em>!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
