During that time, she dated people who were, at the time, big names.<\/p>\n

In 2002, Ringwald and Lameign\u00e8re divorced. <\/p>\n

Gianopoulos is seven years her junior, and admitted that he had a bit of a crush on her from her early films. In October 2003, the couple welcomed their first child.<\/p>\n
They named their baby girl Mathilda Ereni, following a Greek tradition involving naming a daughter after her grandmother. <\/p>\n
(Ringwald was not, initially, eager to follow this tradition)<\/p>\n

Now the married parents of two daughters and a son, this quiet couple\u2019s attention was on their kids.<\/p>\n

They remain married to this day.<\/p>\n
On social media<\/a>, you can see the happy pair celebrate Valentine\u2019s Day \u2014 as they have for over two decades, now.<\/p>\nThey also make trips to Gianopoulos\u2019 native Greece, including traditional visits to a temple of Poseidon. Trips to holy sites aren\u2019t always romantic, but they can be \u2014 in addition to their historical value.<\/p>\n
Ringwald has jokingly referred to Gianopoulos as her \u201cgetaway car.\u201d To be clear, this is a positive statement (and possibly shade towards her ex-husband).<\/p>\n
It sounds like her love life as an adult is much simpler than that of any character she played in the \u201980s. Good for her!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
